
Domestic Violence Support Group: Summer 2025
We are excited to haveĀ experienced South Asian mental health counselor, Rita Schabel, LCMHC, NCC lead our Summer Domestic Violence Support Group for Kiran clients. These sessions will be from 6 PM to 7 PM EST on these dates:
July 31
August 7
August 14
August 21
August 28
Rita has her Masters in Clinical and Vocational counseling from North Carolina Central University and an MBA from Duke University. She has been counseling clients affected by Intimate Partner Violence since 2011. She studies the socio-cultural influences that lead to domestic violence and believes that empowering clients together with systemic changes creates a resilient client. Kiran has worked alongside her for many years and we are excited to have her facilitate this group!
