Mithila Art Workshop for Teens

November 8th, 6 PM – 8 PM in Charlotte

Kiran recently held a powerful event aimed at raising awareness about healthy relationships among teens. Local artist Rupam Varma led a Mithila Art Workshop where participants learnt to create sun motifs that symbolize warmth, positivity, and new beginnings. The event provided a safe and open space for teens to discuss the importance of respect, boundaries, and recognizing the signs of toxic behaviors in relationships.

Through both discussion and art, the event encouraged teens to explore and express what safe, respectful love means to them. A big thank you to all participants and Rupam Varma for making this event so meaningful!
