We hope you will join us to hear Dr. Ankur Srivastava present: Hidden in Plain Sight: Rethinking Domestic Violence for LGBTQ+ South Asian Communities. Ankur Srivastava is an Assistant Professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social
Work. He is also a core faculty member with the Global Social Development Innovations Center. He completed in PhD in Social Work from University of Southern California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on reducing behavioral health disparities among LGBTQ+ populations and is informed by nearly a decade of community-based work with nonprofits in India and the United States. His work integrates community-engaged and data-driven approaches to inform prevention and intervention efforts He currently serves as Co-Chair of the US Regional Network for the International Partnership for Queer Youth Resilience. He is also Vice President of the South Asian Social Work Educators Association.
