Come support Kiran and play pickleball on March 23rd at Pickleball Charlotte – 11611 Ardrey Kell Rd, Charlotte NC, 28277! There will be three slots for Pickleball from 5 PM to 8 PM!
- What is pickleball?
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in USA and is being played by people of all ages. It is a racket sport (similar to tennis or badminton) - Why pickleball?
Research has shown that playing a racket sport like pickleball increases a person’s lifespan. Pickleball is easy to play and can be played by almost anyone. - What if I don’t know how to play pickleball?
We will have volunteers who will teach you the basics If you are new to this sport, we will introduce you to this and you will make a whole set of friends!! - What is the fundraiser for?
Domestic violence in the South Asian community continues to grow as the population of South Asians grow in North Carolina. Kiran is an organization dedicated to helping victims of Domestic Violence. - Can I just donate to Kiran directly and not participate in the pickleball ?
While we would love to have you participate in the pickleball event, please feel free to donate directly to Kiran at Kiran’s PayPal Link - What do I need to bring to the event ?
- Bring a paddle if you have one, otherwise you can borrow one from the volunteers and staff
- Wear comfortable clothes and come ready to have some fun
- Snacks and tea will be available for a small donation – with all funds going to Kiran
