Kiran Gala
For South Asian survivors of domestic violence in North Carolina, Kiran can be the call that opens a path to safety.
For 25 years, Kiran has provided culturally specific support to survivors and families across the state. Today, the need is growing quickly. Since 2021, requests for help have nearly doubled. Last year alone, Kiran answered 3,500 crisis calls and served 197 families with total support through 24/7 crisis line response, legal advocacy, housing support, and healing-centered services.
