DESCRIPTION:Kiran’s annual art contest returns this October! In honor of 25 years of Kiran empowering survivors of DV\, this year’s theme is “A Legacy of Hope.” Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit any 2D art work that aligns with this theme. Submit your artwork by December 1st here: bit.ly/kiranart2025. If you are having difficulty submitting your art work\, you can email it to kiran@kiraninc.org with your Name\, Age\, and the City/State you are from! \n\n\n\nThe winning entry will grace the cover of Kiran’s 2025 Annual Report while the remaining entries will be displayed throughout our report. All artwork will be showcased on our website and our social media! \n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:The UNC Asian American Center is hosting its first “community-con” on Saturday\, February 15th at the Graduate Student Center. They have graciously invited our organization as well as numerous other organizations that serve Asian Americans. This event is free and open to the public. \nDate & Time: February 15th\, 10 AM -2 PM \nLocation: Graduate Student Center – 211A West Cameron Ave\, Chapel Hill\, NC \nFree parking will be available at the nearby Nash Lot on Wilson Street. \nRefreshments and lunch will be provided to those that register by Monday\, February 10th at 5 PM.
