In honor of 25 years of Kiran empowering survivors of DV\, this year’s theme is “A Legacy of Hope.” Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit any 2D art work that aligns with this theme. Submit your artwork by December 1st here: bit.ly/kiranart2025. If you are having difficulty submitting your art work\, you can email it to kiran@kiraninc.org with your Name\, Age\, and the City/State you are from! \n\n\n\nThe winning entry will grace the cover of Kiran’s 2025 Annual Report while the remaining entries will be displayed throughout our report. All artwork will be showcased on our website and our social media! \n\n\n\n

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by contacting Ritu Mukherjee at ritusdance@gmail.com or 704-840-5495. \nThis special fundraiser supports Kiran’s mission to serve and uplift survivors of domestic violence. Kiran’s mission is to end the cycle of abuse and to serve and empower South Asian survivors of domestic violence in North Carolina by providing culturally specific services and comprehensive\, economic\, social and community resources. Kiran means ‘ray of light’ in Hindi. We aim to illuminate\, guide and instill hope in the lives of South Asian domestic violence survivors all across North Carolina. We want to bring a change in the way the South Asian Community views and responds to domestic and sexual violence by educating the community on understanding diversity\, violence prevention\, empowerment\, promoting healthy and non-violent relationships\, commitment to social change\, professionalism and equity.
